Terrible. Ordered jan 9th and still don’t have the item now it’s Feb 15th. They blamed 17 working days / Brexit and now customs. Doesn’t help me - out of pocket and all they do is ask me to wait. How long ? Until the child has grown out of the item ? Until the weather changes and the snowsuit in ordered is useless ? Used to be a really good company but I’ll never order anything again from them

Same as everyone else, ordered a few weeks ago now and has been processed but not shipped. So if its been processed surely it can be posted now!! Regardless to how long that may take to be delivered. They keep banging on about 17days, when it states clearly on there website 5 days! The baby won't be a baby forever you know! UPDATE they have now shipped the items so alot happier, and do understand the difficult times due to brexit and covid must be a strain.

I used to love Vertbaudet, I ordered many pieces of furniture and all the bed linen for my children as they are pretty good quality products and the designs are cute too BUT since the Brexit it has been difficult to receive anything... I placed an order in the 13th January to see my items dispatched on the 27th January and I had to wait and wait and wait... to finally receive half of my order a week ago after contacting the customer services 3 times and read the same message again “We are sorry bla-bla-bla... the Brexit bla-bla-bla...” I am still waiting for the other part of my order, it’s gonna be a month soon, fingers crossed! I definitely get the Brexit point, the new rules and all but how did I receive items from France quickly and without any hassle when it’s such a nightmare for Vertbaudet?! No idea. Also, they knew about the Brexit coming and weren’t apparently prepared at all, disappointing. This whole “We don’t want our customers to pay fees because of the new Brexit legislations” is not the best excuse, I think the customers would be more than ok to pay reasonable delivery fees to get their orders on time, otherwise get ready to lose many of them.- And please stop replying with generic message saying the same things again and again that show your customers that you definitely don’t care -

I have been ordering Vertbaudet clothes/ toys for years for my children. Lately it has really gone down hill.Ridiculously orders should be dispatched within 17 working days at the moment. This is not happening. Money has been taken from my account and my order was placed over 20 working days ago. They will not refund anybody so I will have to contact my bank and hope I can get my money back. Vertbaudet are blaming brexit but other European countries have shipped orders to me quickly so that’s not an excuse. Vertbaudet have lovely products that are generally very good quality but sadly I will not shop with them again and they have lost a long time customer in me . Going by social media they seem to have lost a lot of loyal British customers.Also customer service don’t care and just provide cut and paste generic responses to emails and social media enquiries.

Terrible experience!!!!!!! Have done order a month ago still didn't receive a parcel and when you call them they blame Brexit and they don't have idea for estimate time for delivery!!!!!!!!!And still on website they have 17 days for delivery , this is fake!!!!! don't waste your time and money, avoid them!!!!!!!!!!!!!And refund you can get only when you wil refuse a delivery.

Placed an order late November, arrived within a week but wasn’t happy with the sizing of the items so returned them all via Hermes delivery service right away, tracking says it was on its way back to supplier on 14th December and yet on my verbaudet account shows no returns! They’ve got my returns and still no refund!! Avoid at all costs, terrible company!

I love this brand, the quality of clothing is excellent and great value for money. They always have discounts and offers on some beautiful items. They generally take a little longer than I'd like for delivery, it's usually 10 working days, but it's worth the wait imo. I've never had any order or delivery issues with this company and I've found their customer service team to be extremely polite and helpful when asking questions.It's odd to see some of the other experiences on here not to be the same as mine. I would highly recommend the brand based on my experience, I've got two toddlers, clothing is true to size. Hope this helps anyone wondering if they should buy from this brand.

I am surprised by the all bad reviews here, I am a customer for some time now and I never had issues with them: neither with shipping or returns. I find quality of the clothes quite good.

Again this should be Zero starsThe saga goes on! I waited 2 weeks, no new order appeared. I emailed many times then finally got a response. It told me it was 16 WORKING days now and informed me the order would not be sent for several more days.Considering they were worse this time than last, I responded with Cancel my order, I want a refund.Next day they tell me it was sent the day before and they couldn't stop it. Previously they told me it would come from France, this was sent Monday and arrived Wednesday. I refused the order. Now I am getting a message from the courier company saying they are trying to deliver my order. Probably so they can keep my money.The old damaged order was collected finally last Thursday. Friday I was told the refund had been processed.Yesterday, Tuesday 24th, I sent another email demanding to know where my refund was!! There is a problem apparently, with their accounting. No problem on Friday, only a problem for me NOT receiving it.Now they want me to phone them and give MY card details to them over the phone. ALARM BELLS ringing like mad now! Any other company fine, NOT this one.They took my money but like many other complaints I have seen, won't give it back.I gave them my Paypal for the refund but I didn't pay that way so they WONT do that apparently.As the problem is their end, I feel they should refund me via Paypal. Instead of continuing in their usual appalling manner, they should try actual customer service and do the right thing!! REFUND MY MONEY!All I want is my money returned, yet even this is a battle! BEST ADVICE: DONT USE THEM EVER!Reply to Vertbaudet's response!No company has an accounting problem for a week! You are still taking orders so there cannot be a problem"! I have read some very negative reviews on here and honestly had to check that they were referring to the right company! I have used vertbaudet to buy clothes for my grand daughter for years. She has a very slim waist and we found it very difficult to find clothes that would fit her ...it was becoming a real problem in that she began having an aversion to anything too loose around her waist to the point where she refused to wear anything apart from one pair of leggings that were Full of holes and way too small for her. Vertbaudet saved the day with their great collection of jeans and trousers with adjustable waists and 3 hip widths ...I buy from them regularly, they fit like a dream and my grand daughter loves them. Not only that but I have found them one of the best online companies to buy from, the returns process is straight forward and I have never had any hassle with refunds. They use Parcel Shop for returns but as I live in the Scottish highlands and don’t have a local Parcel shop I call them up and they arrange a courier to come and pick it up...i never have to wait more than a minute or two to connect when I call and the advisers are genuinely pleasant and helpful. (Someone commented in their review that they were unable to find contact details for Vertbaudet ...if you look on their website there is a telephone number which gets you straight through) I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone!

Ordered 2 items for my baby. They took the money instantly but didn't dispatch for 2 weeks so I ended up returning 1 of the items as it arrived too late to be useful. I arranged a return directly with them via email. After 4 weeks I got in touch with them to advise I hadn't received my refund. They told me that refunds can take 14 working days. Why?! Why does it take that long? No other companies take that long to refund customers. Anyway I didn't get my refund so had to contact them again, 4 emails later they are now asking for tracking numbers etc and wasting my time. Luckily I paid on my credit card so will charge it back via my bank. Never shopping here again and will warn friends and family too.

Avoid avoid avoid!Like all the other reviews, my experience with this company was beyond a joke. After 2 weeks of ordering matching coats for my daughters, and after the invoice said it was getting ready to be shipped, I received a refund for 1 of the items as it was out of stock (still in stock on their website though!). I promptly emailed them asking to cancel the whole order as the items were all matching sets and I had no use for the other 3 items without the canceled one, to be told I couldn't cancel the order (even though it had not been dispatched!) and that I was either to refuse the delivery or send the items back. I have never had a company request such a thing and what an absolute waste of everyone's time to do this! I refused the delivery. Over a week later I emailed them to chase up my refund. I got an email a few days later to say my refund would be processed but to wait 72 hours. I then received another email to say that actually they couldn't process the refund and that I needed to call them to get it done manually. I called them and will wait to see if this actually goes through this time!Overall feedback. The wait for the items is long. I do not for a second believe this is due to the pandemic as every other buisness is managing. The company needs stock control measures. Item's should not be available to order if they are out of stock, and the website should keep stock of what is in their warehouse - even more of a joke that after receiving the email saying item was out of stock that it was still available to purchase on their website! The companies practices and communications with their warehouse are shocking. I should have been able to cancel my order before it was shipped, especially as it was their fault that I no longer wanted the items. It's a waste of everyone's time and energy sending parcels out that you know are going to get refused - I am guessing the company doesn't care about being eco friendly/conscious. The had my phone number on file from my order. They could have rang me to sort the refund out, instead I have had to do all the chasing, which shows they are in no rush to please customers. I was told the issue was due to my bank rejecting the payments as I had already received a partial refund. This could be avoided by not taking payments until the orders have been fulfilled. Overall I would never use this company again. Their prices are no cheaper than other retailers. I can't comment on the quality as I didn't see any of the items , but in future I will stick to other retailers and not gamble again.From ordering to potentially getting a refund, it will have been 5 weeks. Thankfully I didn't "need" the refund amount to purchase from elsewhere, but £100 is a lot of money to have floating around. They are quick to take the money, but hard work to get it back.Once again. Avoid at all cost. The reviews speak volumes and I wish I had of checked on here first.
